I have been maintaining Entropy's website and services since 2011, and I am still doing so. During that time, a lot has changed. Maintaining and developing the infrastructure of a non-profit organization is very enjoyable because you can, should, and must try everything.
When I started these tasks, Entropy's website was an HTML site. I wanted to improve the websites so that a larger portion of the membership could participate in editing them, so I decided to implement a Wordpress-based blog site. At that time, I also maintained other Wordpress sites, including tokyo.fi.
This is how the website looked after the Wordpress update in 2011.
The main purpose of the website has always been to maintain the history of the events organized by the association and, of course, to advertise upcoming events. Let's mention now also rental and member admissions, but for these, there were different services at that time. The website remained almost unchanged until 2020. More updates mainly consisted of translations into English and, of course, content additions.
