Frequently asked questions
- Why does my CDJ say the device library is corrupted?
- It usually happens when a USB export from Rekordbox gets interrupted, or the drive was unplugged before it finished writing. The database file inside the PIONEER/rekordbox folder ends up in a state the CDJ can't read.
- Will I lose my tracks, cue points, or beatgrids?
- No. Your music files aren't touched. I only work with the Rekordbox/PIONEER database files. I don't touch your cue points or beatgrids, and I keep your playlists intact wherever possible.
- Does this work for XDJ and other Pioneer players too?
- Yes. Any device using the same Rekordbox/PIONEER USB database format (XDJ, CDJ-2000/3000, and similar players) works the same way.
- How long does a repair take?
- Turnaround is currently max 3 business days from when I confirm the price.
